This has been a year full of health issues, including a lot of mental health with kiddos. I took the summer off blogging, stepped back from designing and gave all my energy to them. Truly no better place to invest myself then to my kids. But I've also missed the creative outlet.
This year I seem to be in the mood for Christmas a little earlier than usual, and I think it's because of the hard year I've had. I need the joy and hope of Christmas. This was a design I created to help kids stay excited for Christmas while also focusing on the reason we celebrate. It's an advent countdown that can be colored.
If you don't want cards, you can download the 25 names and scriptures below.
If you're interested in the full design, check out my shop. These are perfect for kids, teens and the coloring-loving adult (like me!) We did these last year with girls ages 9-11. For that group we used these easel. They works great for this and I use them in my home with mine. For the older girls, ages 15-17, we had string and mini clothespins, which they thought were cute.
I also have print-in-color advents. Awesome for giving as a gift. I have done both printed at home and printed and cut at a local printer.
